The Perigold Brownstone Palmer Canopy Bed is made of grained teak with a sand-blasted, driftwood finish. The bed feet are finished with antiqued brass feet-caps. (I’m a big fan of antiqued brass.) It’s available in either Driftwood or Mink.

The Wayfair Birch Lane Heritage Canopy Bed is made of pinewood with a weathered charcoal finish along with metal bracket details.

I love a clean-lined canopy bed, and both of these two beds deliver. They add a dose of drama to a bedroom without being at all fru-fru. (I may be biased since it’s the kind of bed I sleep in every night.)

Both would compliment a serene, neutral and (dare I say it) hygge bedroom decor. Pair with some soft linen-type bedding, toss a nubby throw blanket across the end of the bed, add a soft neutral boho rug underneath that your toes can sink into. Then light some candles on top of a couple of bedside tables holding your favorite reads, and you’re all set in your beautiful, cozy, snug-as-a-bug bedroom. Sweet dreams!
