The World Market table has 3 supports rather than 4, which I think, does provide a different look.

Both are versatile and would look at home in a variety of decor settings from antique to modern. I also think they are an enduring style that you won’t grow tired of in a few years.

I admit I have a weakness for stone topped furniture. It’s heavier than wood, but a stone top is generally more durable when it comes to withstanding food smears and sticky drink rings - whether the juice-box variety or adult beverages. (What can I say, I have three boys.)

Also, a neutral marble top like this doesn’t compete with other wood colors. I have a mid-century limestone topped coffee table in my living room that I’ll never part with, and I’ve always appreciated how it doesn’t add one more wood tone to the room.
