First up is Lula's Garden's 'I LOVE...' GARDEN. Lula's Garden is a Los Angeles-based proprietor of gorgeous succulent planter boxes perfect for gifting year round.
The 'I LOVE...' GARDEN features a bright pink grafted Moon Cacti with a heart-shaped Hoya Kerrii along with a plastic dropper for watering all packaged in a Happy Valentine's Day sleeve.
Place your Valentine's order by 6:00 EST and they will ship it same day! Use code BEMINE for 20% off Valentines gifts.
In my humble opinion, roses should step aside for anthuriums as the ultimate in Valentine's flora. Heart-shaped and overtly sexy, anthuriums definitely have their yin and yang going on with their male and females looking bits.
The Sill's Pink Anthurium is a stunner in it's pink and green glory with blooms that would make a Victorian lady blush. And speaking of blush, the modern, ceramic planter comes in three different color choices, but the Blush is lovely and Valentines appropos.
Bonus - anthurium blooms last sooo long, even outlasting orchids, the next bloom-time runner up. I have one now that was given to me in October and it still has beautiful blooms on it. (OK they're actually modified leaves, not flowers, but I'll try not to split botanical hairs here.) This makes them a great floral bang for your buck. (Take that roses!)
Plants.com's Heart Shaped Topiary is a creative way to send a message of love and caring for Valentines (or Galentines)!
Their description doesn't specify, but I'm 90% sure it's a Wire Vine, a.k.a. Muehlenbeckia. Native to New Zealand, they make fine indoor plants and can be grown outdoors too in mild climates.
The Heart Shaped Topiary should be happy growing on it's heart-shaped topiary frame since vines grow best when they have something to cling to. In other words, they don't like to be left hanging...(especially on Valentine's Day)!
Bloomscape's Potted Pink Aechmea Bromeliad is another perfect Valentine's choice with it's spikey purple-studded pink inflorescence and silvery-stripey-green foliage.
I'm a bromeliad lover and haven't had one of these babies in a hot minute, so I have my eye on this one. Bromeliad blooms also last a really long time, and when the flower does fade, don't toss the plant because it will then work on producing a pup for you to share the love with all over again!
Succulent's Box Valentine's Day Gift Box is a fun choice. This one features an air plant with air plant display, a succulent with a ceramic or terra cotta pot, a stuffed cactus, and Valentine's greeting card.
If you want a specific succulent species or have a gift message for the Valentine's card, they will do their best to accomodate you.
Use code VDAY15 for 15% off all orders.
Leaf & Clay's Pastel Party Succulent Pack works for Valentines or any other occasion. Choose either a 6 or 12 pack of beautiful pastel colored succulents.
The color is on the foliage, not flowers, so their beautiful pastel hues won't fade and die like your typical bouquet. Just be sure to give them enough sunlight so they stay healthy and colorful.
Free shipping on orders of $59 or more. Leaf & Clay also has a succulent club subscription to keep the love going indefinitely.
Wishing all my fellow Plant Lovers the sweetest of Valentines!
